 Operations Data Analyst Role

 Primary Location: Chandigarh

 The Role

The ideal candidate will have good communication skills and some experience should have strong data delivery capabilities, API integration, and other ETL skills required, the interface between data owners, business stakeholders, and IT and report/dashboard developers. We are looking for candidates with a combination of strong Reporting, analysis, and communication skills.

The ideal candidate will be a holder of a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 1 year of actual work experience. The candidate will not be a developer but should have a detailed understanding of data transformation, assessing business requirements, the ability to quickly get to the root cause of business issues, and draft solutions to meet requirements or resolve the root problems.

Someone who can work in a collaborative way to provide services across multiple client departments while adhering to requirements. You will need a practical approach to solving issues and complex problems with the ability to deliver insightful and practical solutions.

The Operations Data Analyst will have core responsibilities including but not limited to;

  •  Deal with disparate data sources and transform data for delivery to reporting platforms
  • Understand trends related to business and recommend strategies to stakeholders to help drive business growth. Reporting of key insight trends, using statistical rigor to simplify and inform the larger team of noteworthy storylines. Respond with urgency to high priority requests from senior business leaders.
  • Work with business intelligence tools, model multidimensional datasets
  • Identify, develop, manage, and execute analyses to uncover areas of opportunity and present written business recommendations that will help shape the direction of the business.
  • Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions. Ensure data accuracy by validating data for new and existing tools. Learn and understand a broad range of ’s data resources and know-how, when, and which to use and which not to use.
  • The ideal candidate actively seeks to understand ’s core business values and initiatives and translates those into everyday practices. You are analytical, creative, and collaborative.

Knowledge & Skill Required

  • Bachelor's degree. 1- 2 years of experience working in a similar role.
  • Strong data delivery capabilities, API integration and other ETL skills required, interface between data owners, business stakeholders, and IT and report/dashboard developers

Preferred

  • Individual contributor skills and mindset with exposure to an Agile working environment.
  • Strong Excel experience with macro development.
  • Exposure to data mining tools like SQL, SAS, SPSS, etc
  • Exposure to BI tools like Tableau, PowerBI, Sisense, etc
  • Experience with analytics, KPIs, and Dashboards
  • Deadline driven, team player, with strong customer focus
  • Outstanding analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Must be detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow through on issues
  • Experience in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment with cross-functional interactions. Strong analytical, mediation, and problem resolution skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
