Implementation Business Analyst


Working closely with clients and colleagues, the Business Analyst plays a key role in the configuration, development, and deployment of the defined contribution system implementation and maintenance activities. You will be responsible to ensure that the system solution in place reflects client’s defined contribution plan & legislation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing plan documents
  • Define and document Business Requirements of client’s plan proposed solution
  • Develop and review test plans and expected results
  • Test system functionality and document results
  • Develop, review and maintain user documentation
  • Work closely with colleagues to apply solution that will enhance implementation procedures and increase quality of the proposed solution
  • Train users on the applications
  • Attend, participate and contribute to team meeting and client meeting
  • Work with users to provide system support and troubleshoot system problems on complex issues
  • Work closely with the Project Manager/Team Leader on communicating project progress and delivery
  • Leading and mentoring offshore resources in India


  • 5+ years working as a Business Analyst
  • Working with Defined Contribution pension plans with system implementation and transition experience preferred
  • Facility to handle and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to commit to deadlines and deliver on a timely manner
  • Capability to take ownership and be accountable for assigned tasks
  • Excel working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented project team environment
  • Demonstrate high problem solving and analytical skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Able to synthesize and bring understanding to large quantities of information
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to share concepts and information to teammates and clients
  • Client satisfaction focus along with team-oriented work style
  • High ethical standards
  • Enjoy analysis/implementation/documentation/testing
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
  • Knowledge of SQL would be an asset


 Post secondary education,  bachelor’s degree in Business Studies, Information Systems or Computer Science is preferred

  • Industry specific certifications
